Terremoto to techno (and thank you Chris)

Well shows like that are too easy. Nice one to Chris Maquun, playing the type of techno I like – banging! You can download it here.
As far as my little bit at the start, it went something like this - check the fnoob DJ GO!DIVA and a little something special I downloaded for free from Soundcloud, Gabriel by Monokao:
EL EXILIO proudly presents......chris maquun

This weeks special guest is chris maquun - young, talented, outgoing and from Southern Germany - he will be sharing a gem of a mix with us.
Everything started for chris in 2007 DJing Minimal and Electro-House, As minimal became more and more popular chris felt the music just sounded all the same and there was no incentive to play it anymore. he didn't just want to be a dj to the masses, he wanted music to make people dance. Chris realised what was needed. Back to the basics - simple as that.
Real techno - driving / emotional / straight forward - music to make you dance.
"Back to the basics doesn't mean completely back to the stone age of electronic music, it's more a great mixture of all great technoid stuff from the last 10 years and more." (ok Chris some of us feel we're from the tone age of electronic music sometimes :-))
Chris maquun's mixing is like his character - anything but dull. Tune in to the EL EXILIO this Sunday 07 March 2010 - 2300hrs GMT and find out for yourself why chris has been invited to do a mix on the EL EXILIO.

Thanks for that Special Brew Mr Tea

Yes. Thank you to my first guest DJ of the British Persuasion – Paul Tea – he did Blighty proud (ditto for me and the EL EXILIO, cheers mate). I had thrown his mix straight in at the start and actually got the chance to enjoy listening to it and the whole show (yes including my part) from a very relaxed position - a rare phenomenon. Only possible as it was unusually pre-recorded.
I do have to confess I wasn’t sure how it would sound (well my part anyway) as it was made using some dodgy hifi speakers as I am still chillaxin’ in Santiago de Chile with the voice of fnoob.com, Carolina. but having a listen online at show-time I think it was just right for Sunday night, finishing off at a cool 140+bpm. ;-)
I promise the next show will be live even if it means trying to convert the mother-in-law-to-be to the ways of pounding jedi techno. I don’t know Paul Tea’s set list but mine went something like this:
