Daz Furey updated a blog entry Terremoto to techno ...

Well shows like that are too easy. Nice one to Chris Maquun, playing the type of techno I like – banging! You can download it here.

As far as my little bit at the start, it went something like this - check the fnoob DJ GO!DIVA and a little something special I downloaded for free from Soundcloud, Gabriel by Monokao:

Indecent Exposure-Cristian Smith

Franchise Dreams-Andrey Loud

Be Patient-GO!DIVA

Gabriel - Monokao

Plan b - John Kargiannis & Pay lip serivce

pivotal - Diarmaid o Meara

While I am here I have to say a big thank you to all of you who it made it possible for me to win the very first fnoob DJ competition. I am stoked! You guys will obviously benefit as I will be buying new tunes with the beatport vouchers! This weeks show was the last to be broadcast from Santiago de Chile as I am returning to Buenos Aires – my time in Chile as been great, even I felt the effects of my first earthquake. Yes it was quite scary and also exciting, fortunately I was in Santiago about 500km from the epicenter – we still felt it as it was so big. Stuff felt from all the shelves and the electricity went for quite some time, the only thing I can compare it to is walking down a (former) British rail train while quite tipsy – the earth is not supposed to move like that. So the show was of course dedicated to those who lost someone or something in the Terremoto (check the photo above for crazy). I can tell you this the Chilean people are a wonder to behold, the solidarity shown here has been fantastic with the calls for help hugely answered by the common people.

Anyway in two weeks time I am proud to present a special guest mix from one techno’s hardest working producers, someone who can found in every techno section of every download store from itunes to DJ download, a big friend of this show - V1NZ. A legend in the making, tune in for his set on 21/03.

Check yo badself!

GO!DIVA FM part 2, 16th of March 2010

I have some awesome guests for my second show. One of my favorit techno producers, Alessio Mereu. An awesome upcoming techno producers duo Cortechs and NiT Grit with his insane dubstep sounds.

Alessio Mereu

For the 16th of march show i will get a mix made by one of my favorit producers of the past few years,  Alessio Mereu.  This techno producer and dj from Sardinia, Italy, had his first release in early 2007.  In less than a year he released a set of successful productions which attracted the attention of many key figures in the techno scene.  His tracks are played by leading dj’s such as Adam Beyer, Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Alex Under, The Advent, Alexi Delano, Xpansul and many others. By the age of 20,  Alessio fully dedicated himself to the music:  his sound continues to evolve maintaining his own unique style and his productions have been released on various labels such as CMYK, Analytic Trail,  Mindshake and many others. Since 2007 he has created an impressive discography and he has many dancefloorbombs on his name.  His track ' Sbatman Go ' is in my top5 favorit dancefloor tracks of the past few years.  I have played his records a lot on my gigs so i am very happy he wanted to do something for my show.

NiT GriT

The second artist in this show is Danny Beal (NiT GriT) from San Jose, United States. "He's just a guy that Likes to make music".  NiT GriT is the devious machination of 23 year old Bay Area native.  A relative newcomer to the scene, NiT GriT has rapidly gained a substantial following in the 8 months since the inception of this project.  Influenced by genres such as IDM, D&B, Glitch and Breakcore, NiT GriT has spent the past 4 years producing and experimenting under several different monikers.  His latest undertaking dissects elements from dubstep, glitch, and grime, and cauterizes them together in the most visceral and precise manner possible.  NiT GriT's dubstep sounds are amazing and his sound is unique,  so i'm very happy he will supply me with his awesome tracks so i can make a showcase for him.

Cortechs

Cortechs, MarkUs & Frank Kayman from Cologne, Germany. They have some awesome releases scheduled for later this year, that will please dancefloors worldwide. So i am very happy they have supplied me with a set they made, containing some of their new productions.

Cortechs

I hope i have enough time in this show to have a third guest, otherwhise they will be in the next show in April.  Cortechs, MarkUs & Frank Kayman from Cologne, Germany. They have some awesome releases scheduled for later this year, that will please dancefloors worldwide. So i am very happy they have supplied me with set they made, containing some of their new productions. http://soundcloud.com/cortechs

GO!DIVA FM part 3, 13th of April 2010

Tomy DeClerque

For the 13th of april show i will also get a mix made by one of my favorit producers of the past few years, Tomy DeClerque from Koper, Slovenia.  As a member of the new generation of Slovenian deejays, Tomy DeClerque grew up in an environment full of promising development in the sphere of electronic dance music.  In front of his eyes the local scene has been turning into a globally acknowledged style of techno music in the hands of artists such as Umek and Valentino Kanzyani.  A natural choice for a guy with talent and ambition was to jump the train – and Tommy DeClerque has road it ever since.  As a young player, Tomy DeClerque has accomplished a lot. But he is determined to accomplish even more. ‘You’ll hear a lot about me in the future,’ he promises.  He has created an impressive discography with awesome tracks and remixes. His track ' Pleasant noise ' with F.Sonik is in my top5 favorit dancefloor tracks of the past few years and has never left my recordcase so i am very happy he wanted to do something for my show.

Spinko

Thibaut aka Spinko comes from Nice in the south of France.  Discovering new sounds and spreading them out to people who appreciate them is his moto!  Techno,  Minimal and Tech-House are the areas where he can express himself in the best way,  because he is rhythm and bass driven,  and he loves cyclical elements!  Here are some artists that have a big influence on his music: Maetrik, Zhao, Dyno, Richie Hawtin, Speedy J , Dubfire and many more.
"Life is a dancefloor, Love is the rhythm, YOU are the MUSIC".
He has got some amazing mixes on soundcloud,  so have a look and enjoy them yourself!

I hope you will tune in for these shows at www.fnoob.com

Danielle
