HAPPY BIRTHDAY FNOOB!!!!!!!
1 year on and we are still going strong… well actually we’re 10 times stronger but that is obvious given the fact its all about the music and its done by those who love it! So Congratulations to all those who have made it happen particularly the man himself Mr Ben Sonley (pictured above) without whom none of this would be possible – Ben take a cyber bow please! (or don't if you show us your bits)
So what has happened in the last year? Well for starters we’ve gone from one dedicated underground 24 hour music stream to five of them – I’ve just had a listen to the fnoob neurovirus and had my head blown off by some serious gabba!
For me its all about techno and the techno channel in particular which Ben kindly asked me to keep an eye on since its inception back in June – which I try to do to the best of my abilities (Sorry all of you who have had late shows, none existent plays etc – you know who you are!). If I am being honest I am chuffed with the techno channel and those who perform on it. I’d put my residents up against the best there are – well some of our residents are the best there are! Anyway thank you to all who listen to the techno channel and especially those who contribute – it means a lot to me and lots of other too no doubt.
Well my show The EL EXILIO techno broadcast has done its first year too (just about - we started on the 19th Sept) and I have had a lot of fun doing it from various locations; Buenos Aires in Argentina, Santiago in Chile and back in my old hood Camden town - London. Alas in recent times I have had to prerecord shows due to a terrible argentine wifi set up shared with 10 or so bandwidth hogging sods – but I know I will try a live show again, most likely for the birthday special I have planned. You lucky listeners have heard me drop plenty of corkers, exclusives, classics and bangers and I have had the privilege of having some quality guest mixes from all over the world. He’s a round up of who has blessed me with some top drawer techno guest mixes over the last year: Javier Ferreira (Arg), Klarsk (Arg), Pedro Delgardo (UK), GO!DiVA (Neth), Kamil P(USA), DAM® (Arg), Tony Kanwischer (Deu), Paul Tea (UK), Gonzalo MD (Arg), Chris Maquun (Deu), V1NZ (USA – RIP), Luke Creed (Ire), Roman Gertz (Ukr), Mattias Fridell (Swe), Datrus (UK), The Score (UK), The Element (Malta), DJ Ant (UK), DJ Recluse (UK). Thank you all. With that pedigree in mind I have asked BCR boy Joe McG to do me a mix for the birthday special so it will definitely be a corker.

Wanna know a bit about Joe? Alright then for starters he supports the same football team as me so the man’s obviously got his head screwed on hahahah! Joe’s been doing his thing a for a few years now and has quite a few accolades under his belt. For starters he set up Backwater Community Recordings to much acclaim and its sister label transmissions. As an Artist (along with Colin Bain) he’s been on labels such as Perc, Synewave, NYC, Hype and Muzik to name a few and the BCR boys along with their label are supported by the likes of Hawtin, Dubfire, Speedy J, Gary Beck, Steve Lawler, Jerome Baker and a shit load of others you can find by checking out any of his various web places. Oh yeah he helps run a radio show called Format.FM on probably the best online radio station in the world….. wonder what that would be called then? Fnoob techno obviously!
I should drop a few corkers myself too so get tuned into fnoob techno this Sunday at 11pm UK time for some heavy shizzle….Remember support and represent.

For my Second show will present you a special techno set of GO!DIVA. This show will be in 2parts, the first part is for GOD!VA and the second one is for me. On this one, i play with 4decks. Here can you find more info about Dj GO!DIVA :
Danielle M. N. Godiva aka GO!DIVA was born in Holland in 1980. She always had a passion for music. When house music got on her way she started to collect vinyl in 1992. A year later she went to her first big rave and started to produce hardcore with some friends. After a few years, DJs like Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin etc. got her back into techno music.
In 2001 she picked up producing again, with simple programs just for fun, so nothing serious. After 16 years of collecting vinyl and going to parties she got her first turntables at the end of 2007. In 2009 she started to play at parties/festivals and soon she realised that her passion for music was more than just a hobby and invested in some hardware and software to use and make music in a more professional way.
GO!DIVA loves all kinds of electronic music, but mainly focus on techno. Her mixes are made with vinyl and Traktor (with timecoded vinyl). For producing she uses ableton, akai apc and vst`s.
2010 started good for GO!DIVA. She made it into the finals of the Next Generation DJ contest. On february the 8th she had her first release `Be Patient` on Lot49 and more releases on Intertech Records, !Organism Records, Redbox Records, NBG-music and Brickwork are scheduled for later this year. On the 16th of february she started her own radioshow `GO!DIVA FM` on fnoob.com .
Her favorit producers/dj`s are: Extrawelt, Popof, Umek, Trentemoller, Stephan Bodzin, Oliver Huntemann, Pan-Pot, Adam Beyer, The Advent & Industrialyzer, Joey Beltram, Pfirter, Virgil Enzinger, Sven Wittekind, Pig and Dan, Lutzenkirchen, Matthew Johnson, Alessio Mereu, Tomy Declerque, Secret Cinema, Julian Jeweil, Ortin Cam, Aphex twin, Prodigy, Mr Oizo and many more

Tuesday evening it's time for GO!DIVA FM part 9. I will start of the show with a mix of myself including some very nice new promo's. For the second hour i have an awesome mix from Skober.

Skober is the main grooving force of the Speca Records team. Having a good musical background and experience playing in a rock band in his early youth it's no surprise that after being infected by House vibes this young man jumped on the right wagon. Besides keeping up the original works for his home label Skober has done lots of remixes for labels like Bosphorus Underground, Les Gold Series, Gastspiel, Stereo Seven Plus, Budenzauber,Binary404 and Moditech. There were numerous entries in techno and minimal tops on different musicshops all over the world done by Skober's music and he got support from some serious players in this industry. But he is not running over the quantity of tracks as his main point is quality and ideas. So watch out for him in the future. I have used a lot of his tracks in my mixes so i am very proud i have him in my show.
