Rick is the label boss at Duality Records and also runs various other esoteric projects under different guises.

Kike Pravda Biography:

Kike Pravda, Dj and producer, grew strongly influenced by the music, with a musician and sound technician father and a mother running a musical devices business. Since he was a child, everything that sounded "electronic" attracted him, and he earned more than one punishment for reprogramming different synths and drum boxes he had found.

From a very early age he was fascinated withe the figure of a DJ, and ever since the first time he saw a DMC competition, his life was marked completely focusing his musical interests towards the decks.

Two decades ago, with a non-defined scene and without the expanded music range of nowadays, the Spanish impending electronic scene came down to commercial music; house, trance & goa, but Kike already had a very important quality for a Dj; he was looking for his sound.

This led him to select different music from the beginning,the most minimal line and techno from labels like Sinewave, Plus 8, Planet E, which he found abroad as artists like Plastikman and Juan Atkins were not yet known in his country.

His work as a producer was brought out for the first time in 2000 with a release on the Dutch label Katac, when he was working together with his brother under the pseudonym "Phazer".

They then played their first live acts all across Spain and France, and had their releases enter the tracklists of artists such as; Green Velvet, Ben Sims, 808 State, Tim Baker etc.

Following on, they released a VVAA electro CD for Supergp Records and then they also signed some of their tracks with the missing shope Jaxx Records from Madrid own label Lowtom Works, which achieved some very good results.

Up to now, Kike collaborates with the Spanish label Psychoskunk Records and Reaktor Records, where he has managed to contribute many tracks which frequently appear in important artists charts, such as Oscar Mulero and Exium.

He is currently also releasing his works on labels such as; Warm Up Recordings and Injected Poison Records among many others.
